Jacqui Germain is a poet and journalist living and working in St. Louis. Her first full-length poetry collection, Bittering the Wound, chronicles the Ferguson uprising and won the 2021 CAAPP Book Prize and the 2024 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. She is a member of the St. Louis Anti-Imperialist Collective.
