In the face of rising techno-fascism, nurturing a community that exists outside of social media is critical. Whether it's through our town halls, teach-ins, or launch parties, we create occasions that bring people together so we can meet, talk, laugh, and learn how to build and grow together. Our issue launch parties in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Oakland, and beyond have drawn hundreds of Hammer & Hope supporters together to dance and laugh and envision the world we want to create.

Gatherings have included a teach-in on Assata Shakur's legacy with the filmmaker and writer dream hampton and the organizer Monifa Bandele and a conversation between Hammer & Hope co-founder Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor and civil rights lawyer and acclaimed author Michelle Alexander.
